the story
a friend of mine had offered me a small empty shell that someone brought her from the sea. I took it and it was spending a lot of time in pockets, or just lying around, I'm surprised it wasn't lost or broken, it was so small... much later it was put in water and after a while I noticed that it wasn't there... hmmm... and MAGIC it became a real alive snail that had it's own plan and was determined to leave my room, my flat, and eventually the house, and make its way back home where it belonged! but I couldn't let that happen, no! you see I love torturing small animals, it just makes me feel a bit more superior. I tried to put it back to its "aquarium" but every time it just wouldn't stay there for long. anyway as much as loved it I decided to let it into the wild and took it to a large park we have nearby. It probably didn't make it because the nature is so different from where it comes from but after a second thought it managed to survive months without food or water. who knows...

Great capture and story, gandz! These little critters are sometimes faster than you think! Especially if you try to catch them alive! :-)

Be very careful. I heard of horrific tales of snails who seek revenge on those who were mean to them.

@Jeff: ooops, if I knew it before, I'd be more careful... like I'd take it out of town at least...
